DISN-86 Eq. DISN Cable Description

This DISN-86 encryption cable connects a KIV-7 Red device with a DB37 female interface to a Cisco CAB-530MT or CAB-SS-530MT cable. This DB37 male to DB25 female cable is built to military specifications with MILSPEC connectors, solid metal backshells and 360 degree grounding. Most applications require a PVC jacket. Stonewall also offers a plenum rated jacket and a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket. See Additional Information.

KIV-7 applications require two cables: a "Red" (unencrypted) interface cable and a "Black" (encrypted) interface cable. See KIV-7 Black Encryption Cables.
