KIV-7 Red to RS-232 DTE Cisco Router Description
This encryption cable connects a KIV-7 Red device with a DB37 female interface to a Cisco router with a DB60 female DTE interface. This cable will put the Cisco router into "DTE" mode, and strap the pinout as an RS-232. Most applications require a PVC jacket. Stonewall also offers a plenum rated jacket and a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket. See Additional Information.
KIV-7 applications require two cables: a "Red" (unencrypted) interface cable and a "Black" (encrypted) interface cable. See KIV-7 Black Encryption Cables.
