DISN-30 Eq. DISN Cable Description
This DISN-30 encryption cable connects a KIV-7 Black device with a DB37 male interface to an RS-530 DCE device, such as a modem or DSU, with a DB25 female interface. This DB37 female to DB25 male cable is built to military specifications with MILSPEC connectors, solid metal backshells and 360 degree grounding. Most applications require a PVC jacket. Stonewall also offers a plenum rated jacket and a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket. See Additional Information.
KIV-7 applications require two cables: a "Red" (unencrypted) interface cable and a "Black" (encrypted) interface cable. See KIV-7 Red Encryption Cables.
